Terms
Terms and Conditions
Effective July 6, 2026
These terms set the operating rules for using PlanePeek to review aircraft records, generate reports, and manage credits.
Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of PlanePeek. By creating an account, uploading records, buying credits, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
If you use PlanePeek on behalf of a company, buyer group, owner, broker, mechanic, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
The service
PlanePeek helps aircraft buyers and their advisors organize aircraft records, read uploaded logbooks, compare seller claims to available records, research public sources, and produce a due-diligence report.
PlanePeek is an analysis and workflow tool. It does not replace a pre-purchase inspection, an A&P or IA review, an official FAA records order, an aircraft title search, legal advice, insurance advice, tax advice, or your own independent judgment.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including reports created, records uploaded, credits purchased, and messages sent.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use PlanePeek for purchase due diligence.
- Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Uploaded records
You keep ownership of the records, documents, images, notes, and other content you upload. You grant PlanePeek a limited license to host, copy, process, OCR, analyze, display, transmit to service providers, and otherwise use that content to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and share aircraft records with PlanePeek. Do not upload records that are illegal, malicious, confidential beyond your authority, or unrelated to the report you are creating.
Reports and AI analysis
- Reports may be generated with automated systems, AI models, OCR, third-party public sources, and deterministic fallback data where clearly labeled.
- AI and OCR can misread records, miss context, produce incomplete findings, or make mistakes. You should verify important findings against source documents and qualified aviation professionals.
- External data sources, including FAA, NTSB, marketplace, and photo sources, may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, blocked, or inaccurate.
- A PlanePeek score or finding is not a certification of airworthiness, title status, market value, maintenance compliance, damage history, or purchase suitability.
Payments and credits
- Credit packs, prices, included features, and promotional offers are shown in the app or checkout flow and may change prospectively.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Their terms and privacy practices apply to payment processing.
- Live analysis backends may consume report credits. If a live analysis fails after a credit is charged, PlanePeek may refund that credit according to the service logic shown in the app.
- Except where required by law or expressly stated in writing, purchases are final and credits are not redeemable for cash.
Acceptable use
- Do not use PlanePeek to break the law, violate third-party rights, misrepresent aircraft records, or create misleading reports.
- Do not upload malware, exploit files, credentials, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to provide it.
- Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or test the security of PlanePeek without written permission.
- Do not use PlanePeek outputs as the sole basis for a purchase, loan, insurance, regulatory, legal, maintenance, or airworthiness decision.
Third-party services
PlanePeek may link to, retrieve data from, or integrate with third-party services such as payment processors, email providers, public aviation databases, marketplace sites, observability providers, hosting providers, and AI providers. PlanePeek is not responsible for third-party sites, data, downtime, terms, or practices.
Availability and changes
PlanePeek may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued at any time. Features may be experimental, in beta, or dependent on third-party services. We may update these terms when the service changes, and continued use after the update means you accept the updated terms.
Intellectual property
PlanePeek and its software, design, workflows, prompts, templates, branding, and documentation are owned by PlanePeek or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
You may use reports generated for your account for your own aircraft due-diligence, purchase, advisory, or record-review purposes, subject to these terms and any rights held by others in the underlying records.
Termination
You may stop using PlanePeek at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service or others, failed to pay amounts due, or used the service unlawfully.
Disclaimers
PlanePeek is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and error-free operation.
Aircraft purchases carry real financial, safety, mechanical, legal, and regulatory risk. You are responsible for confirming material issues with qualified professionals and official records before acting on any PlanePeek output.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanePeek will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, aircraft purchase losses, inspection costs, financing issues, or loss of goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanePeek's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to PlanePeek for the report or credit pack giving rise to the claim, or $100.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold PlanePeek harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your uploaded records, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection laws in your location require a different result.
